Hair Filler is a term used to describe using just a few Great Lengths extension bonds to create fullness and volume for fine, flat or broken hair. The effect of these artfully placed extensions fills in gaps and maximises luscious volume in places where you ‘just can’t seem to grow it’. Whilst we often think of hair extensions as being Rapunzel-long, our typical Great Lengths client usually is just getting a little help where they need it!
Filler generally is about 20 -40 bonds scattered through the hair at places that seem thin. Either short or long, the natural gentle wave of Great Lengths hair and the instant volume fill out your own hair making it easier to style and simple to maintain. Filler lasts the normal time of hair extensions, 4-6 months, however, you can always get a top up as you see fit.
It’s often the case that hair at the temples is finer and more sparse. Much of the time these stressed out strands are broken as a result of blowdrying and styling. Unfortunately, while they bear the brunt of our styling, they are the exact placement we need volume to face frame.
By placing 20 strands through the sides of your hair, you will fill in these gaps and create beautiful face framing that lifts and accentuates your facial contours.
