Great Lengths certification is the starting point for any stylist new to our hair extensions. As a prerequisite to their live model day, new stockists must get 100% pass on all exams in order to become qualified to apply keratin bonds on a live model. Following on from the live model, each extensionist receives their diploma as a certified Great Lengths technician.

What’s in the Course?
Broken into four sections the online course are sets of short, sharp videos covering:
- Products and Production of Great Lengths – Covering the fascinating journey our hair makes, starting in Indian temples through to processing in Rome. This section also covers all our product features and what tools you have your kit upon joining on as a stockist.
- The Proper Consultation – Absolutely critical to a strong outcome, consultation is covered in great detail, with images and scenarios for the student to walk through and assess on their own.
- Great Lengths Technical Application – Though becoming an expert takes time, precision is something we want to install from day one. In this section we cover everything from posture to timing to get each student to understand what makes a ‘perfect bond’. By working alongside each video with a mannequin, students are asked to upload videos of themselves applying bonds to be checked by online educators.
- Maintenance, Removal and Marketing – A well-rounded extensionist knows that application is not where our duties end in the world of hair extensions. In this unit we cover how to teach our clients to look after their hair, as well as the removal process and business units that support salon growth. By the conclusion of of this course, really all there is left to do is practice, practice, practice.
Following each unit, you will be asked to complete an exam or upload pictures of your own work that you will have done on a mannequin. By the end of the online course you will be confident in all components of the Great Lengths service.
